Jafar was beeing hit by bullet during a demonstration in May 2011 near Mastuma. He roghly survived and since he can´t move his legs his family tries to treat him at home in Courine. Courine was been attacked by ground troops on February 22, 2012 (see archive images). aftermath air force helicopters shot rockets several times into the 7000 inhabitants counting village south of Idlib city. Courine ist still a stronghold of opposition.
