Syrian Uprising
A boy climbs up to a hole in a local school building caused by rocket impact. On 22. February syrian army attacked the village of Courine, Province of Idlib, Syria. Courine was among the first villages in the northwest of Syria controlled by opposition. Some villagers and members of the defence units escaped to surrounding olive orchards when the attack begun in early morning. A majority of the inhabitants didn´t manage to escape. The heavy shelling lasts for 7 houres. Soldiers searched all houses, burnt some of them down, loot shops, stole cars and furniture. About 60 motorcycles were burnt down. Tanks demolished several houses. 6 men were executed, one child died of ahelling. A woman died as a result of an heart attack.
