Erkundungsbergwerk Gorleben besetzt
Several hundred anti nuclear activists occupied the site of the "Erkundungsberwerk Gorleben" to protest against a release of the "Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz". The release, which came to public by a newspaper report, declared the past science exploring procedures inside the salt mine of gorleben as a preparation to use the mine as a nuclear waste dump. The demonstraters jumped across the fences, opened the main entrances and pushed into the site by feet and tractors of local farmers. Some activistes climbed onto the mine tower. Others occupied a working hall of the salt mine. After 2 houres the protesters went off the area. The fee visible police wasn´t able to avoid the pressure of the angry, but peaceful protesters.
