protest against ending moratorium

About 300 people demonstrated today (21.03.2010) in Gorleben, to reject the announcement of the federal minister of ecology to end the Gorleben moratorium soon. The activists, mostly local farmers, erected wooden huts as shelters for the upcomming portests against a possible final storage for nuclear waste in the small village in lover saxony. When the police tried to stop the protest several people were injured by pepperspray or beats of police officers. At least one demonstrater got short term detained.
