Operation Orpheus - Nawabad, Northern Afghanistan

Before going to bed soldiers take a look to digital pictures a comrade has made during the day. In late October 2011 Kunduz based 3.Task Force started a several days operation in and around Nawabad (District Chahar Darah), west of Kunduz, northern Afghanistan. During the Operation Orpheus about 100 german infantery soldiers rolled out for patrols through the town and surrounding areas, which were expected as a retreat zone of insurgents.
