General view and mosque in Koreen. Koreen was been attacked by ground troops on February 22, 2012 (see archive images). Since then artillery shelled regularly and halicopters dropped barrel bombs several times into the village counting a few thousend inhabitants south of Idlib city. Korren is still a stronghold of opposition.
